The Level is a 20 bed residential unit in Radford, Nottingham. It is run by Framework, working with Nottinghamshire Healthcare. 

The service supports adults aged 18 and over with drug or alcohol problems. 

The Level offers safe, medically supported detox and stabilisation. Each person has a care plan that is based on their own needs. 

Care is available 24 hours a day. A consultant leads the service, with support from nurses and a recovery team. The aim is to help people stop using substances and move towards recovery. 

The Level can support people who use: 

  • Alcohol 
  • Opiates, including heroin and other opioids
  • Stimulants, such as crack cocaine and amphetamine
  • New psychoactive substances, such as Black Mamba
  • Ketamine
  • Cannabis
  • GHB or GBL
  • More than one substance (polysubstance use)
  • Over the counter and prescribed medicines

As part of relapse prevention, the service may also offer medicines such as: 

  • Disulfiram
  • Acamprosate
  • Naltrexone
