Charity Christmas Fayre at Stapleford Care CentreChristmas fayre at stapleford centre on 3 december 10am to 2 pm

We warmly invite you to our festive Christmas Fayre on Wednesday 3 December, 10am to 2pm, at Stapleford Care Centre, Church Street, NG9 8GA.

Discover a lovely selection of handmade gifts, Christmas treats and seasonal goodies, all created to help raise funds for patients in our care. You'll also be treated to Christmas music and carols performed by children from Fairfield Spencer Academy, bringing joy and festive spirit to the day.

We are delighted that the event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Stapleford, Councillor Sue Paterson.

Every penny raised will go directly towards enhancing patient experiences and funding meaningful ward activities beyond what NHS funding can achieve. You can find out more about the Trust's Charity online.

Cuppa and Connect

Cuppa and Connect for World Mental Health Day. Brewing conversations for better mental health

Celebrate World Mental Health Day with the Trust's very own Cuppa and Connect event and raise money for our charity.

Research shows that talking and building meaningful connections is good for our mental health, and that's why our Cuppa and Connect offers the perfect blend of team spirit and support for mental health. It's a great time to connect with colleagues or friends, create a supportive environment and make mental health a priority.

This could be face-to-face at a scheduled team meeting, virtually online or outside of work to catch up with colleagues and friends whilst raising money for the Trust's charity.

Ideally it would take place on World Mental Health Day, but if that is not possible then any day in October will be a good day for a Cuppa and to connect.

Here's some ideas of how you can help raise some money:

  • Host a tea and cake sale - bring some homemade or shop-bought cakes to your event and ask for small donations in exchange for a sweet treat.
  • Virtual coffee morning - set up an online coffee break and ask participants to donate the cost of a cuppa.
  • Biscuit decorating contest - get creative and charge a small entry fee for a biscuit decorating challenge, with a prize for the best design!
  • Guess the number of teabags - a simple but fun game: fill a jar with teabags and ask for a donation to guess how many are inside. The closest guess wins a prize!

To get you started here is a poster and other graphics for you to promote your Cuppa and Connect event. Click on each to download.

Raising money for the Trust's charity means that we are able to support our patients by investing in new equipment, development projects to patient areas, wellbeing items, books and other initiatives to ensure we enhance and provide the best possible experience of care for those using our services. It means we can also invest in the development and wellbeing of our colleagues.
